All lanes of the M2 have been re-opened after an earlier collision involving six vehicles.

The incident happened at around 7.45am this morning on the London-bound carriageway of the M2 between Junctions 5 (A249 Sittingbourne/Stockbury roundabout) and Junction 4 (A278 Hoath Way, Gillingham.

The carriageway was closed while the emergency services moved the vehicles onto the hard shoulder, but has now been reopened.
