Forty-mile-per-hour speed limits are currently in place on the M20 between J9 (Ashford/Faversham) and J8 A20 (Leeds Castle/Maidstone Services).

The first incident occurred at around 8.11am on the London-bound carriageway, when a car left the road and over-turned. The driver did not suffer serious injuries, but has been taken to hospital.

A second incident involving a car and a motorbike on the coast-bound carriageway occurred shortly after, but again there are not thought to be any serious injuries.
