The countdown to Maidstone’s new comedy night has begun, and there are calls for homegrown talent to get involved.
Laughing Boy will launch on Wednesday, September 3, at the Hazlitt Arts Centre.
Already on board is compere and favourite on the UK comedy circuit Kevin “Man With The Beard” McCarthy.
The man dubbed “the ad lib expert” by The Stage is more than a match for any would-be hecklers, and his cuddly personality and relaxed stage persona have made him popular with audiences worldwide.
Also on the bill for the opening night is headliner Simon Evans, whose gags have been used by the likes of Lily Savage.
