Samantha, who was born in Maidstone, shot to stardom after completing a degree in drama and English at Bristol University.
Although she is best known for her role as Bernice in Emmerdale, which she resumed in 2012 after a 10-year absence from the show, she has also appeared in three series of ‘Where The Heart Is’ as Nurse Sally Boothe and has numerous other TV credits.
