A popular soft play centre has reassured customers after filing for administration.
Bosses at Cheeky Dino in St Peter’s Street, Maidstone, say the business will “continue to run as normal”.
The 13,000 sq ft children’s activity centre has play frames, slides, a sensory room, an artificial football pitch and a cafe.
It is also a popular venue for birthday parties.
Cheeky Dino also shares a site with a number of independent businesses, including The Climbing Experience and Pussycat Poles.
In October, plans were revealed to transform the Grade II-listed Powerhub building and the shed units into 230 homes.
Several business are already worried about their future, with many believing they will eventually have to leave the premises if it gets approved.
Cheeky Dino is owned by Play Centres Limited and on Tuesday, June 13, it was made public that the company had brought in administrators.
Kirker & Co has confirmed it is seeking offers for the business and has enlisted specialist commercial agents to find a buyer.
It will also be aiming to recover outstanding debts owed to suppliers.
A spokesman from Cheeky Dino said: “Play Centres Limited has filed for administration and another company will be taking over.
“We want to reassure customers that nothing will change and it will continue to run as normal.”
