An out of control bonfire ripped through a garden in Maidstone, destroying a shed and two greenhouses.

The fire took hold in South Park Road just after 10pm yesterday.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the bonfire had been left unattended.

Three fire engines were called to the blaze.

Crews left the scene shortly after 11.15pm.
