Computers, cars and handbags have been stolen in one area of Maidstone.
Four properties in the Crayford Close area of Vinters Park have been burgled prompting police to issue crime prevention advice.
The properties were reportedly targeted overnight from Monday to Tuesday, September 20 to 21.
Items reported stolen include tablet computers, handbags and electrical equipment.
Two cars were also stolen but one has been recovered.
No one has been arrested but police are investigating and have issued the following advice to help deter burglars.
Ensure all windows and doors are locked overnight and when you are out of the property. If you have a UPVC door, ensure it is double locked.
Keep keys, cash and expensive items out of view; use timer switches on lights and radios to make your home look occupied; and keep gates locked and boundaries secure.
Lock away bikes, tools and garden items that could be stolen or used to break into your home.
Security-mark items including bicycles, mobile telephones and laptops; keep receipts, mobile phone IMEI numbers and serial numbers safe; and photograph and insure expensive or unique items.
Install a safe, bolted to the ground or a wall, or use a safety deposit box at the bank.
People can also register important items for free at www.immobilise.com to help police return stolen items if they are recovered.
Report a burglary or suspicious activity by calling 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
