Ollie Schulz was the Tonbridge hero for the second game running as he salvaged a point for his side at Staines on Tuesday night.
Having scored the only goal in the win over Maidenhead on Saturday, Schulz kept Tonbridge in the top-10 in Blue Square Bet South with the leveller at Wheatsheaf Park.
Chris Piper volleyed narrowly over early-on for the visitors and Mikel Suarez fired tamely at Staines keeper Danny Potter before David Wheeler gave the hosts the lead after 22 minutes, cutting inside and unleashing a 25 yard shot high past Lee Worgan.
However Schulz levelled six minutes later when Nathan Koranteng whipped a pre-planned low corner to the near post where it was met by the on-rushing defender who drove the ball home, narrowly avoiding Frannie Collin on the line.
Collin saw a free-kick saved by Potter before Lee Browning charged down a shot from Mark Nwokeji shortly before the break.
After the interval Schulz went close to a second, volleying a Rory Hill free-kick straight at Potter and heading another Hill corner narrowly wide.
Worgan denied Nwokej with his legs following a goalmouth scramble and saved a 25-yard drive from Everitt soon after while Schulz was needed at the other end to superbly clear off the line from a shot from the impressive Ali Chabaan.
Sonny Miles headed straight as Potter from a last-minute corner but at the other end Worgan brilliantly denied Jake Goodman as the hosts staged an injury-time raid, almost snatching a winner.
