Summer may still be clinging on weather-wise today, but stars were lining up at the Hazlitt Theatre to get ready for Christmas.
They were in Maidstone to promote this year's pantomime which will be Cinderella.
Among those starring will be Chloe Madeley, who has appeared in Dancing On Ice, and will be playing the title role. She told the KM her famous parents, Richard and Judy would definitely be in the audience: "They will come and see me; last year when I was in panto in Windsor, they came five times. They are so in my corner."
She will be playing alongside former Coronation Street hearthrob Danny Young, who will star as Dandini, and CITV Hi5 presenter Chris Edgerley as Buttons.
The show, being staged by Blue Genie Entertainment, includes a spectacular and magical transformation scene for Cinderella, although producer Gary Telfer wouldn't reveal any secrets until the run begins on Saturday,December 8.
"It will be spectacular and will happen all on stage infront of the audience," he said.
Children took part in auditions to appear alongside the cast last weekend.
