Christmas is around the corner, and one town has announced extra trading hours to sort out those all-important gifts.

Shopping centres in Maidstone have announced their opening times in the run-up to December 25.

The Mall Maidstone will operate under special late night shopping hours.

Covering Friday, November 26 to Thursday December 23, Monday to Saturday, stores will open from 9am to 7pm and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.

On Christmas Eve, The Mall will operate from 9am to 5pm, and will be closed on Christmas Day. Boxing day hours are from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

On New Year's Eve, The Mall's stores will be open from 9am to 5.30pm and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on New Year's Day.

Normal opening hours at The Mall, in King Street, will return on January 2, 2022.

Fremlin Walk will also have special Christmas trading hours.

Black Friday hours, on Friday November 26, will be from 9am to 6pm.

After that, stores will open from 9am to 7pm, from Monday to Saturday and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.

On Christmas Eve, Fremlin Walk will operate from 9am to 5pm and close on Christmas Day.

Shops will open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Boxing Day and on the following Bank Holiday on December 27 and 28.

New Year's Eve hours will be from 9am to 5.30pm and 9am to 6pm on New Year's Day.

Bank Holiday hours on January 3 will be from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

A list of key stores whose opening times are extended outside of the times shown will be added onto the Fremlin Walk website.

On Saturday, December 4 when Fremlin Walk will hold a one-day Christmas fair running from 10am to 3pm.
