Kent dancer James Jordan has won rave reviews for his second Dancing on Ice performance despite suffering a little stumble.
The former Strictly Star took to the rink to perform a routine inspired by Phantom of the Opera.
Mr Jordan, who lives near Maidstone, with wife and dance partner Ola Jordan, appeared on BBC1's Strictly for seven years until 2013.
On last week's show he topped the leaderboard with a score of 30.5 out of 40, described as the highest ever score for a first show.
Mr Jordan, originally from Medway, said he was looking forward to skating to Phantom as it is 'creepy and moody - which is me.'
But as he came off the ice after a mostly flawless performance, earning him a score of 27, he admitted to the judges he struggled with his nerves and felt he had messed up.
Christopher Dean said: "It was all going so well, you came out of a gondola and did some impressive back cross overs."
He joked: "But it can be slippery out there and the ice can catch you out when you least expect it."
People also sent congratulations over Twitter, including radio and TV presenter Zoe Ball.
Jayne Torvill said it was great from beginning to end but she had to down mark for the small trip, while Jason Gardiner said he thought the choreography was 'too nice' and more of the Phantom's obsession should have been brought out.
But his score was enough to get him through to week three as the couple sent home was actor Richard Blackwood and his partner Carlotta Edwards.
