Firecrews were called to reports of a car alight in Park Wood this morning.
Three recycling bins were also on fire when a pump from Maidstone arrived at the scene in Sutton Road at about 5.40am.
It took about 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Police also attended as it is thought the fires may have been started deliberately.
