Clubs, pubs and taxi drivers have put their hands in their pockets to support a scheme to help late-night revellers.
The Maidstone taxi marshal scheme, which operates on Friday and Saturday nights, costs about £8,000 a year to run.
A question mark had been hanging over its future after organisers admitted funds would dry up after May.
But now money has came from sources including Muggletons Inn, the Society Rooms, police, taxi drivers themselves and county councillor Malcolm Robertson so it can continue.
One marshal, and on busier nights two, wearing high visibility jackets keep queues orderly and help those who are alone or vulnerable.
Town centre manager Bill Moss said: We are grateful to everyone who has contributed so that this terrific scheme can keep going.”
