THIEVES have emptied a tea money collection box from a cancer treatment waiting area at Maidstone Hospital.

Someone forced open the box and snatched the small amount inside. The box, kept in the chemotherapy waiting room, normally contains donations towards tea and coffee for patients and visitors to the department.
