A teenage drug dealer who hid drugs down his trousers was caught by security staff after trying to sell ecstasy at a music festival.
Joshua Fenton was found carrying a bag containing 31 wraps of Class A drugs when he attended the Winter Social event, in Detling Hill, on March 11.
His plan to sell the drugs to fellow festival-goers was scuppered after a member of security staff became suspicious of his activities.
The 19-year-old was stopped in a toilet area and found to be concealing the drugs down the front of his trousers.
Police later raided Fenton’s home in Cannock Drive, Maidstone, where they found a safe in his bedroom and further drugs. Fenton claimed they were for his own personal use.
Almost 17 grams of MDMA were seized along with a small quantity of another banned substance called alprazolam.
Analysis of Fenton’s mobile phone also revealed messages consistent with making drug deals, both before and after the music event.
Fenton appeared at Maidstone Crown Court, where he admitted two counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and a further charge of possessing a Class C drug.
He has been bailed to appear before the same court for sentencing, on December 22.
