A teenager has been locked up for two years after officers stopped his car and found drugs, a knife and wads of cash.
Police originally pulled over the car in Loose Road, Maidstone, after officers in Palace Avenue noticed one of the car's brake lights was out.
Inside the vehicle was a 17-year-old boy and a 38-year-old man.
Police searched both suspects and the vehicle, and found the teenager was carrying 65 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, a 10-inch knife and £1,000 in cash.
A small amount of cannabis, two mobile phones and a pair of electronic scales were also found in the car.
Both were arrested on suspicion of taking the vehicle without consent and possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
The 17-year-old, from the Croydon area, was later charged with possession of a knife in a public place, possession of criminal property, possession with intent to supply both heroin and crack cocaine, and possession of cannabis.
He appeared before magistrates on Friday, where he was sentenced to two years youth detention.
Richard Lovett, of Duncan Road, Gillingham, was also charged with driving without a licence or insurance, and has been released on bail to appear before magistrates on Friday, March 31.
