A teenager has been charged in connection with two burglaries in Maidstone following a police appeal.

Investigators issued the request for information following break-ins around the Downswood area in February.

The boy was since arrested and has now been charged with a burglary in Horton Downs on February 14 and handling stolen property in connection to a burglary at Chapman Avenue on February 8.

The teenager has been bailed to appear at Medway Youth Court on June 26.
