A teenager who downed four pints of Stella and threatened to rape a police officer's mum wanted to get arrested to spend time in prison with his murderer brother.
Cameron Macdonald, 19, had been out with his partner on October 22 at Lashings in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, after a fight erupted over a spilled drink.
Multiple police officers arrived at the bar at around 2am following reports of an assault and arrested Macdonald.
Police officers were forced to place a spit hood over his head after he launched saliva at them.
Macdonald, of Regency Place, Maidstone, had also tried to bite their hand as he was restrained.
He told officers he wanted to be arrested so he could spend time with his brothers who are behind bars.
During a hearing at Maidstone Magistrates' Court Macdonald admitted one charge of assaulting a police officer and avoided a prison sentence.
Leanne James, prosecuting the case, said: "Mr Macdonald proceeded to say he would rape the officer's mum.
"He sucked inside his cheek and gathered saliva which he spat directly in the officer's face.
"Even after the spit hood was applied Mr Macdonald was still resistant and police officers were obliged to apply straps to his legs."
Macdonald had also been due to stand trial for a further charge of assault having been accused of kicking someone and punching them during the same incident on October 22.
However, due to administrative errors and the victim and witness in the case choosing to go on holiday to Amsterdam instead, the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence and Macdonald was acquitted.
Macdonald apologised to police following the incident and assault and magistrates decided to hand him a community order for 12 months.
He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and must pay £100 in compensation to the police officer.
Macdonald will also have to pay an £85 victim surcharged and cover the £85 court costs.
