Two teenagers have been arrested after a man’s jaw was broken in a town centre attack.
The victim was approached by a group of youths last month when he was punched to the floor and then repeatedly kicked in the face by two teens.
It happened at the top of Gabriel’s Hill, Maidstone, at the junction with High Street, on Thursday, August 13, at around 6.30pm.
Officers were called to the scene and an 18-year-old man was arrested nearby.
Four days later, following an investigation, a second teenager, aged 17, was also arrested.
A police spokesman said: “Both are currently bailed pending further inquiries. Police are now appealing to any witnesses who have yet to come forward to contact them.
“They are also seeking any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation.”
The 18-year-old has been bailed until November 12, while the younger boy has been bailed until November 16.
