Temporary traffic lights are causing headaches for commuters in Barming this morning.

The signals, in Hermitage Lane near the junction with Marigold Way, are opposite the site of new homes being constructed on the site of a former nurses home.

They are due to be in place until Monday, May 9.

One motorist complained it had led to delays of around half an hour between the A20 and Maidstone Hospital.
