Motorists will have to fill up their tanks elsewhere following the closure of a busy petrol station.

The filling station at the Tesco supermarket in Grovewood Drive, Weavering will be shut until Wednesday, February 14 for refurbishments.

A Tesco spokesperson said: "The Petrol Filling Station at our Maidstone Grove Green Superstore is temporarily closed while we carry out improvements to the fuel pumps and forecourt.

"We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused."
