It raised more than £190,000 and turned Leeds Castle's grounds into a swathe of pink.
Now organisers are hoping this year’s Pink Ribbonwalk will beat the success of last year when it is held on Saturday, June 20.
For 2015, organisers have made sure young people can take part.
They have added an extra shorter, five-mile route for families with children over eight able to take part and the age limit for the 10 and 20-mile routes has been lowered to 14, so the whole family can take part.
It will be the third year the event, organised by Breast Cancer Care, has been held in Kent.
Lucy Johnston, walks events manager said: “This year we need over 750 participants to join us at the Leeds Castle Ribbonwalk to help smash our target of over £193,000. Every year nearly 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK so we really need Kent residents to sign up to take part in 2015.”
Participants must raise £100 in sponsorship to help fund Breast Cancer Care’s specialist services which help people live with, through and beyond breast cancer. It costs £30 to register and £15 for under 18s, and walkers will also receive free entry to the venue grounds (with a reduced entry fee for friends and family).
There is no minimum sponsorship for under 18s.
Every participant will receive an event pack, a pink ribbon to write a personal message on, a Pink Ribbonwalk T-shirt, medal, celebratory hot post-walk meal and a certificate.
Breast Cancer Care provides specialist nurses, services and emotional support network.
