Around 35 firefighters were needed to tackle a farmhouse blaze.
Six crews and specialist vehicles were called to Cranbrook Road, in Goudhurst, just after 11.30am today.
Teams used compressed air foam to deal with the flames, which had broken out in the roof.
Just before 1pm, firefighters began salvage work and started to cut away parts of the building so they could reach and extinguish hot spots.
The operation was scaled back at about 1.20pm, to two fire engines and a bulk water carrier.
There are no reports of any injuries.
