A series of accidents, some leaving vehicles overturned, has caused serious disruption on a busy motorway.
Kent Police were called to three incidents on the M20 within a 20 minute period between 8am and 9am on Monday, February.
Officers were called at 8.29am after a report that a car had overturned on the coast-bound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9.
Just one minute later, police were called to the same stretch of motorway where the London-bound carriageway was blocked following a collision involving a lorry and a van which left the van overturned.
Minor injuries were reported with one person being treated at the scene.
Police were also called shortly after the two collisions at 8.45am to a report that a car had hit the central reservation on the coast-bound carriageway between junctions 7 and 8.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported and all the incidents were cleared by 11am.
The three accidents came after a night of chaos on the M20 in which police said as many as four collisions took place overnight, all involving multiple vehicles.
