A three vehicle collision has been cleared from the M20 but commuters still face some delays.

Police say the accident, which happened shortly after 7am, was not serious and all of the cars involved managed to pull onto the hard shoulder.

The incident happened on the London-bound stretch of the motorway, between junctions 5 (Aylesford) and 4 (Leybourne).

According to the Highways Agency heavy traffic means commuters face delays of up to 15 minutes between junction 7 (Detling) and junction 4.

There are no reports of any injuries.

There should be no delays from 9.15am.
