A BOY of 14 was robbed of his MP3 player and a watch shortly after he got off a school bus.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which happened on Thursday, February 23, at about 6pm.
Maidstone and Malling police spokeswoman Gianna Pollero said the youngster got off the bus in Sandling Road, Maidstone.
She explained: "While on the bus, the victim had been fooling around with friends, and as a joke, they had taped up his hands and feet.
"He got off the bus and hopped along the road. When he came to the junction with The Hedges, he was approached by three youths, one of whom pinned him down while another went through his pockets.
"They stole his MP3 player and his Sekonda watch which has a blue face, and ran off down the alleyway near the children’s play group."
The offender who actually rifled through his pockets is described as white, 16-17 years in age, 5ft 8in tall, with short dark brown, spiky, hair. He was wearing a school uniform – black trousers, navy coloured blazer and a blue and white hooded top. The victim was not injured.
