Tonbridge and Thurrock have conceded 34 goals between them in Blue Square Bet South already this season - but they played out a goalless draw at Ship Lane on Saturday.
Alex Osborn and Lee Boylan both had efforts wide for Thurrock early on while midfielder Dean Cracknell somehow headed over Gleen Poole's teasing cross.
Tonbridge, despite Lewis Taylor impressing down the right, failed to force Thurrock keeper Craig Holloway into action during the first 45 minutes.
Beecroft went close for the visitors after the break but Angels' man-of-the-match Lee Worgan was again the busier of the two keepers as he denied Osborn.
Boylan was denied by Worgan, who then thwarted the former Canvey striker by keeping out his far-post header.
At the other end, leading scorer Frannie Collin (pictured) twice went close to claiming a late winner for Tonbridge but Holloway produced two tremendous saves.
