Hundreds of pounds is up for grabs as the Kent Messenger's Cute Kids competition gets underway.

From today, parents can pop down to The Mall in Maidstone to have their child photographed.

The photos will then appear in the paper and our readers will vote to crown Maidstone's cutest kid.

The competition will be open until Saturday, August 11

Winners will receive £500 and a canvas portrait.

Runners up will pocket £100 and a canvas portrait, third place will receive £50 and a canvas portrait.
