Tommy Warrilow is hoping his Tonbridge side will be fighting fit on Saturday after a flu bug threatened to derail them last weekend.

Around half of the Angels squad, including the manager, have been suffering with flu but they did just enough to see off Concord 3-2 at the Longmead Stadium in the FA Trophy first qualifying round.

It was the club’s fifth successive win in all competitions and they head to Aveley this weekend in the Ryman League Premier Division.

Warrilow (pictured) said: "They are a side people say we should be beating but if we go there with that attitude, then we’ll come unstuck.

"They are only six points behind us. We’ll go there and treat them with respect and hopefully pick up another three points."

The Angels have been drawn at home to Enfield Town in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy.
