Tommy Warrilow believes that striker Frannie Collin is good enough to deserve a second tilt at Football League.

Collin (pictured) netted a late equaliser in Tonbridge’s 2-2 Blue Square Bet South draw at Chelmsford on Monday night, his 10th goal of the season, putting him level with Welling’s Andy Pugh and Charlie Sheringham of Dartford, who Tonbridge face at Princes Park tomorrow (Saturday).

Tonbridge boss Warrilow said: "I think this could be Frannie’s year. He is still only 24 and I believe he could still do well in the full-time game.

"He continually gets into good areas and his goal (in the 3-1 win against Salisbury) on Saturday was superb and I am sure he can stay in contention for the Golden Boot at the end of the season."

Meanwhile Warrilow has put the on-off transfer saga involving Bromley defender Rob Gillman behind him, Gillman informed Warrilow by text message last Thursday he had changed his mind after signing two days earlier. He later spoke to Gillman on the phone, a conversation the Tonbridge manager says will remain private.

Warrilow goes head-to-head with good friend and Dartford boss Tony Burman tomorrow with the respective scoring talents of Collin and Sheringham taking centre stage.

He watched the Darts win 2-1 against Staines on Tuesday and said: "Tony and I speak twice a week and he has done a fantastic job there."
