Tonbridge Angels had to settle for another single point in the Blue Square Bet South after conceding a late equaliser at the Longmead Stadium.
The Angles drew 1-1 with Sutton to make it six draws from their opening nine games.
It means that despite losing just twice this season Tommy Warrilow’s side sit on the edge of the relegation places.
Frannie Collin (pictured) had put the Angels 1-0 ahead, with a major deflection off Henry Muggeridge's shot, after just two minutes.
They could have doubled the lead but failed to convert from the penalty spot, as keeper Tom Lovelock saved from Collin.
And Sutton – without a league win this season – made Tonbridge pay for missing the opportunity to make the game safe when they equalised with three minutes left as Kyle Vassell found a way past Angels keeper Lee Worgan.
