Tonbridge Angels went eighth in Blue Square Bet South on the back of a fine win over Truro City at Longmead on Saturday.
Frannie Collin was the Angels hero for the umpteenth time this season, scoring one and setting up the other two.
Home keeper Lee Worgan kept out a long-distance drive from a Marcus Martin free-kick early-on while skipper Ben Judge produced a superb tackle to thwart Andy Watkins when bearing down on goal.
When Angels eventually got going, Ollie Schulz saw a header tipped onto the bar by Oliver Chenoweth before the hosts went infront five minutes before the break when Rory Hill danced through the Cornishmen's defence before squaring to Collin for fire his 25th league goal of the campaign low past the keeper.
Stewart Yetton almost capitalised on a poor Sonny Miles header, only for Worgan to block his shot with his legs on the stroke of half-time but after the interval Tonbridge raised their game.
It took just five minutes for the second goal to arrive as Nathan Koranteng sent Collin through to bamboozle the defence and fire in a low shot which Chenoweth could only parry as far as Mikel Suarez to turn into the net.
Koranteng, Miles and Chris Piper went close to a third and Hill curled narrowly over before the final goal arrived on 85 minutes when Lee Browning (pictured) and Collin exchanged passes to draw the White Tigers keeper and allow Browning an easy tap-in.
The win left Tonbridge 10 points behind the play-off places with eight games remaining.
