Tommy Warrilow has lost sleep this week after Tonbridge’s disappointing FA Trophy exit.

The Tonbridge boss was "shocked and disappointed" his team played so poorly, losing their third qualifying round replay 2-1 against Bishop’s Stortford on Tuesday. He is planning changes for the Blue Square Bet South home game against second-placed Welling on Saturday.

Warrilow (pictured) said: "I was up all night stewing it over and I still can’t get my head round what happened. I was shocked because I never expected it.

"It was a massive kick in the teeth for the club because up until then we had been fine. From one to 11 nobody did what they had been told to, or what they had been doing.

"I will change it because I am not putting up with a performance like that. It won’t just be for the sake of it because I would be stupid to change it dramatically."

Warrilow knows Tonbridge have to lift themselves against Welling who came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in the first meeting at Park View Road in August.

He said: "They are the only side so far this season to have given us a real lesson, and I was embarrassed to be in front, having scored from the only two shots we had on target.

"I want 11 warriors out there on Saturday, giving 100% to get our pride
back."

Defender Danny Walder is a doubt after going off in midweek with a recurrence of back spasms.
