Tommy Warrilow says Tuesday’s 3-2 extra-time win over Harrow was "one of the great nights at Tonbridge" and wants to repeat it when they host Lowestoft in the Ryman League play-off final at Longmead on Saturday.

More than 1,100 were there to see Ade Olorunda grab the 111th-minute decider to leave Angels one match away from promotion to Blue Square Bet South.

Boss Warrilow (pictured) said: "The place was absolutely rocking, and the togetherness of everyone at the club – players and supporters – has been absolutely superb.

"It will be very hard against Lowestoft, and I am sure the tension will kick in at some stage during the afternoon.

"But we have home advantage, and our record at Longmead (one defeat in 18 games) is something to be proud of."

Tonbridge conceded a three-goal lead when the two teams met in January, and drew 0-0 in Suffolk last month.

Warrilow said, however: "I don’t think we have anything to fear, and beat the most athletic and fittest team in the league in Harrow."

Chris Piper and Scott Kinch put Tonbridge 2-0 up inside the opening 25 minutes, but former Margate strike Rocky Baptiste netted twice to pull the Middlesex side level.

Olorunda poked home the winner, to spark off huge celebrations on and off pitch.

Warrilow says he is proud of his players’ achievements in finishing second. But he described the season as one of the "toughest and most frustrating" in his time at the club.

Warrilow admitted: "The 4-0 home defeat against Cray was the turning point. I was embarrassed and hurt and knew I had to change things."
