Tonbridge manager Tommy Warrilow says it's a case of "cup half empty or cup half full" over the Angels' stuttering start to the season.

Tuesday's battling 3-3 draw at Billericay, thanks to two late goals from Frannie Collin and Ben Judge, was Tonbridge's fourth successive stalemate in Blue Square Bet South having lost their opening two matches.

And Warrilow (pictured) said: "It depends on whether you look at it as a cup half empty or cup half full.

"I keep being told we haven't won in six matches but we've only lost twice and I'm not overly concerned.

"For different reasons I have not been able to play my first choice starting XI yet."

Warrilow was also pleased with the performance of Mark Lovell, who scored after just two minutes of his starting debut for Angels.

He said: "I played Mark in a midfield holding position, instead of in his usual striking role and he did well."

Ollie Schulz was again ruled out by a leg injury and faced another fitness test on Thursday night ahead of Saturday's trip to Havant & Waterlooville however the red card Schulz picked up in the 1-1 draw with Welling last month has been rescinded by the FA after an appeal.

Warrilow has increased his defensive options by signing Henry Muggeridge on a one-year deal.

The former Bristol City youth player has impressed in Angels' recent games.
