Manager Tommy Warrilow admits his Tonbridge side are yet to find top gear so far this season.
Angels are still waiting for their first win after two 1-1 draws over the Bank Holiday weekend against Welling and Bromley respectively.
Warrilow (pictured) said: “It’s been a funny start and I’m just a little bit frustrated that we haven’t got going yet.”
Warrilow’s mood wasn’t helped by the fact Tonbridge had a player sent-off in both their weekend games.
Ollie Schulz received a straight red for a professional foul against Welling while Chris Piper received two yellows at Hayes Lane.
Warrilow said: “It doesn’t help when you lose key players like Ollie and ‘Pipes’ and in all of our games, there has always been something that has disprupted the flow.
“But those two draws have stopped the rot after two defeats and they were a couple of good points.”
Angels have appealed against Schulz’s red card but the centre-half could be ruled out of Saturday's home game with Basingstoke because of the leg injury which forced him to come off at half-time against Bromley.
