Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow is hoping to set up dual-registration deals for three trialists.
Angels, who beat Charlton 2-1 in a friendly on Tuesday, are likely to start the season without injured defenders John Heath (knee) and Sonny Miles (hernia).
So Warrilow is keen to have John Scarborough and Billy-Joe King as cover, while he’d also like to have an option on striker Mark Lovell (pictured).
"I’ve been phoning round Ryman League clubs looking to set up dual-registration deals," said Warrilow.
"It’s difficult because most clubs have their squad in place but I’m getting close with a team for Mark.
"All three lads have done well for us in pre-season and with numbers down, it would be good to keep them in some form."
Tom Davis scored Angels’ goal in a 2-1 home friendly defeat by Dartford last Saturday.
There were fears for midfielder Rory Hill after he suffered a knee injury in a challenge with Adam Green but he’s recovered well.
Warrilow said: "The swelling has gone down a lot and I’m hoping he may even be involved in our final friendly at Folkestone on Saturday."
Angels went on to beat a Charlton side featuring four first-teamers on Tuesday and they face Folkestone away on Saturday.
