Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow is still waiting to find out more news about hospitalised striker Mikel Suarez.
The forward has been detained under observation since the weekend after suffering a head injury in a collision with team-mate Lee Browning during the second half of the 4-1 Blue Square Bet South defeat at Farnborough last Saturday.
Both players were carried off, with Browning released later in the evening after also being treated for a head wound.
Warrilow, pictured, said: "We are hoping to release more information about Mikel’s condition. Our medical staff are keeping in touch with the situation. His parents have flown over from Spain to be at his bedside and I hope to talk to them when I can."
The Angels trailed Farnborough 2-0 at half-time before Frannie Collin pulled one back four minutes after the break. Farnborough immediately made it 3-1 and wrapped things up with a fourth 17 minutes from time.
The defeat – Tonbridge’s first in 10 games – capped an unhappy afternoon, with Warrilow tweeting an apology to the club’s fans about the performance.
