As far as manager Tommy Warrilow is concerned Tonbridge Angels still have three big matches left to play this season.

Two of them are in Blue Square Bet South, with vitories over Dorchester at Longmead on Saturday and at Boreham Wood next weekend likely to be good enough to earn the Angels a highly respectable eighth-place finish after winning promotion from the Ryman Premier last season.

Sandwiched in between those two games is a testimonial match for Scott Gooding against Crystal Palace on Wednesday (7.45pm), which Warrilow (pictured) hopes will draw a big a crowd to Longmead.

He said: "Scotty deserves it because I have never known a lad more dedicated to his football. He was devastated when he was advised to pack up playing after his second knee operation.

"(Palace manager) Dougie Freedman has been really good in agreeing to send a team down at short notice and I hope we can put on a great night for Scotty."

Admission prices for the game are: adults £8, concessions £4, children free.

Before that Tonbridge can move up to ninth by beating Dorchester, which will set things up nicely for the trip to eighth-placed Boreham Wood.
