Tonbridge Angels will look return to the top six in Ryman League, Premier Division with a trip to Essex on Saturday.

Angels begin a run of four straight away games with the visit to AFC Hornchurch who lie a place ahead of them in seventh.

Boss Tommy Warrilow, pictured, said: "It will be difficult but we dropped down a couple of places at the weekend when we didn’t play, went up one with a point on Tuesday and we want to get back into the top-six.

"It is a tight league and there is a long way to go but you just want to keep yourself in touch. Every point will count at the end of the season."

Tuesday’s 1-1 home draw with Margate – which saw Lee Browning salvage a point in the second half – made it nine games unbeaten for Warrilow, October’s Manager of the Month, who claimed: "We want to keep it going as long as we can. The changing room is a great place to be at the moment."

Scott Gooding and Lewis Taylor made long-awaited returns from cruciate ligament damage as substitutes on Tuesday and Warrilow said: "It was great to have them back but it is important not to put too much pressure on them.

"They need games but when they are back ticking over again we’re going to have some serious competition for places."
