Tommy Warrilow says Dartford have not made an offer for top scorer Frannie Collin.

He reacted after reports that Tonbridge had slapped a £20,000 price tag on the 13-goal striker after he was linked as a possible replacement for Charlie Sheringham at Princes Park.

Warrilow (pictured) said: "Dartford made a tentative inquiry soon after Sheringham signed for Bournemouth but that’s all.

"He’s worth more than that, anyway, and Frannie has told me outright he wants to stay."

Sheringham cost the League 1 side £25,000 and Burman said: "I was realistic on what I accepted for Charlie. . . but I’m not going to pay that money for someone at the same level as we’re playing at."

Warrilow also believes the former Dover striker, who was released by Gillingham, is good enough for another tilt at League football himself.

Bristol Rovers youngster Kane McLaggon scored his first goal for Tonbridge in the 2-1 win at Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday night, which lifted Warrilow’s men into mid-table in Blue Square Bet South. Lee Browning got the winner.

Welshman McLaggon joined on a month’s loan last week, together with Rovers team-mate Michael Boateng,

Tonbridge travel to Dorchester on Saturday and Warrilow added: " I want us to keep pressing on.

"I know one win doesn’t make everything hunky-dory but I hope we can take the belief from it into our next few games."

Scott Kinch and Alwayne Jones have joined Kingstonian and Chatham on loan respectively, while Lewis Taylor has linked up with Bromley.
