Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow says he will take Tuesday’s 4-1 home defeat by Sutton on the chin but won’t be beating himself up about it after just two games of the Blue Square Bet South season.

Warrilow (pictured) said: "I am not getting all dramatic about things after one defeat. I mean to enjoy the season, stay positive and am determined we will do well.

"We will see where we are after Christmas and analyse things then.

"It was a poor performance and a bad night, but we beat ourselves, and the manner in which we conceded three of the goals grates with me."

Tonbridge face Eastleigh at Longmead on Saturday and Warrilow added: "I have got a decent set of lads and a win will give us six points out of the first nine, which will be a fantastic start."

Warrilow was checking on Jon Main at training last night (Thursday) after he went off against Sutton to be replaced by scorer Frannie Collin, and young striker Alwayne Jones got a run-out late on.
