Tommy Warrilow is hoping to extend Adam Burchell’s loan move from Dartford.

The young striker scored in Tonbridge’s 2-0 Ryman League Premier Division win against Carshalton on Tuesday night and is due to play his final game at Harrow on Saturday.

However, Warrilow (pictured) wants to keep him and spoke to Darts boss Tony Burman this week.

He said: "I hope we can do something but we might do it on a call-back basis.

"He took his goal well the other night but has been due one because he has had a few chances. He went off early after picking up a knock but he should be fit for the weekend."

Tonbridge are the division’s form team with five wins and a draw in their last six games, which has taken them to the fringe of the play-offs.

Warrilow said: "We have done it with a combination of old fashioned work ethic and things falling into place."

Kirk Watts, Paul Booth and substitute Jerahl Hughes netted in the 3-1 win against Canvey last week, a match that was held up for 20 minutes when injured assistant referee Tony King couldn’t continue, with the match assessor taking his place.

Warrilow wants the good run to continue against Harrow, before facing local rivals Maidstone at Longmead on Tuesday. He added: "It will be strange to face them without Alan Walker or Lloyd Hume involved because we have had a few battles against them in the past."
