The starting whistle had barely blown when Maidstone Utd fans started celebrating their team's championship-winning season at the Gallagher Stadium.

In front of a sell-out crowd the Stones gave everyone the perfect season finale, beating East Thurrock Utd 3-2 with goals from Jay May and two from Billy Bricknell.

Victory proved the perfect hors d'oeuvres for a special night of celebrations at the James Whatman Way club to commemorate a magical season which sees them promoted to Conference South.
