Motorists are facing delays around Maidstone today due to an accident and roadworks.

Roads around the town centre have faced slower traffic while South East Water carries out work on Tonbridge Road.

Temporary traffic lights were installed near the junction with Milton Street on Thursday and are set to be in place until Friday, October 12.

Extra delays have been caused after a Mill Street was partially blocked due to an accident.

Traffic is queuing between Knightrider Street and Broadway.
