Southeastern rail services between Maidstone and Ashford delayed

Commuters face long delays this morning after trains were left at a standstill due to a signalling problem.

Southeastern services eastbound between Maidstone East and Ashford International are affected by the fault.

The rail services may be diverted via Paddock Wood.

Southeastern has warned that Londonbound trains are running but could also face delays.

The rail service has since updated passengers to say the signal problem has been resolved but there could still be delays.
