The poor state of train services from Maidstone to London will be debated in Parliament today (Wednesday, January 6).
Sir John Stanley (Con), MP for Tonbridge and Malling, has forced a half-hour debate about services on the Maidstone East line.
He was one of the key figures in the unsuccessful campaign to save a service from the County Town to Cannon Street.
Services to the City were lost as part of a timetable shakeup by Southeastern trains at the end of last year.
Before the debate, Sir John, who wants to see rail services to Cannon Street, Charing Cross and London Bridge reinstated, asked constituents to share their experiences of prolonged journey times.
