Journeys have been disrupted after roads were blocked by fallen trees this morning.

Motorists were delayed on Detling Hill, Maidstone, after one fell and blocked the carriageway.

Drivers are being told to expect slow traffic on the A249 southbound between Scragged Oak Road and the M20.

Elsewhere, entry to Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre was partially blocked by another fallen tree on Sharsted Way.

The road has now reopened, according to police.
