Family and friends have been left devastated after a teenager died when an ordinary cold turned into a brain infection.
Danielle Brooker , 18, from Barming, developed a headache but her condition deteriorated and two days later she was dead.
More than 1,000 people have joined a Facebook tribute page and a disco in her memory is being held next week.
People closest to her have found some comfort in the fact that she has saved the lives of three other people, after signing up as an organ donor.
Within hours of her death, the teenager had donated her heart, liver, lung and a kidney.
It is yet another tragedy for her mother Sharon Brooker, who has lost two newborn children and her brother Jimmy Brooker, who was stabbed to death in Park Wood , Maidstone, in 2006.
Family friend Karen Barnes said: “Danielle was one of a kind. She was a stunning girl, beautiful, who was always lively and bubbly.”
