THREE teenage boys were arrested and cautioned after a spate of graffiti tagging incidents in a Kent town.

Police say the graffiti has been created using marker pens and spray paint in numerous locations in the Maidstone town centre and on the outskirts of town since October last year.

Two 15-year-old boys from Staplehurst and Maidstone, and a 14-year-old boy from Linton, were all formally cautioned for criminal damage.

A police spokesman said: "This is a clear signal that actions such as this are taken seriously by Kent Police."
